Center Proud to Sponsor Annual Leopold Lecture - Robin Wall Kimmerer

robin-wall-kimmerer-2023-lecture_orig.jpegThe Center for Community Geography is proud to be a sponsor of the 2023 Annual Leopold Lecture organized by the Leopold Writing Program. This year the Lecture will be given by Robin Wall Kimmerer, Powatami scientist and storyteller, decorated professor and author of Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge and the Teachings of Plants and Gathering Moss: A Natural and Cultural History of Mosses.

Doors open at 5:00pm. The event will begin with Robin Wall Kimmerer presenting awards to the student winners of the 2023 Aldo Leopold Writing Contest. After the Awards Ceremony, Kimmerer will present her lecture, followed by a book signing.
